I've ask and found out the Rebate is just store credit in the Rock island online store. (For mags, ammo, grips , and accessories) and NOT A price reduction or a cash refund. There is no savings on the pistol it's self.

Hi Mike, the RIA 10mm's have a "Ramped" barrel. The .45, 9mm, .22TCM all come with a standard Bull barrel.

Mike, the RIA 10mm's have a "Ramped" barrel. The .45, 9mm, .22TCM all come with a standard Bull barrel.

What extended magazine or high capacity mags work for this pistol

1911 magazines that do not fit flush need to have a stop on them like the 10 round 45 acp mags or you are in danger of over inserting them when you go to slide lock and reload which means the gun won't work until you knock it out with some effort. This Officer's size 9mm 1911 has no other option than the 8 rounders unless you weld a stop on one of the 10 round mags. You can use 10 round magazines but be gentle when you seat them or they will stick.

Beautiful Pistol but several problems. Failure to feed and eject. Failure to return to battery. Mag release needed to be changed. When it functions, it is very accurate. FMJ Only.

This gun is awesome. Love the finish combination of black and flat dark earth. Pretty accurate and size is nice for conceal carry. Its very nice for the price.

I would give this pistol 6 stars if it was possible.
I’ve never been a huge fan of the 1911 platform but this 9mm may have made me a convert.
The fit and finish is quite satisfactory and it’s weight easily tames target load ammo.
The single action trigger is crisp and smooth. The sights are adequate but they are the one aspect I might change if I don’t like them after I’ve tried painting them.
However, the supplied 8 round clip realistically only holds 7 cartridges. I have tried a stout loading assist several times and I simply cannot insert the 8th round. I bought two aftermarket clips by the same manufacturer and they work perfectly although they’re about 3/8” longer.
All-in-all, this is one of the most satisfactory pistol purchases I’ve made, especially considering the price.
Rock Island rocks with this model.

The pistol turns out to be a great shooting pistol. I rapid fired it ,double tapped and tried to make it mess up. It shoots like a dream. I wish the sights had colored dots. However I still highly recommend this dreamy little guy. It's a badass.
