What an amazing gun. We were able to hit bullseye from 20 yards and the recoil was non-existent. In fact, I just love shooting this thing. Buds offered it at an excellent price and shipped it to my FLL within a week. The only hiccup for me was the poor condition of the cimmaron box. It was severely damaged, but the gun arrived in good shape. For the price I paid, I'm willing to overlook this minor issue. I might even mount this on my wall, it looks so good! Now I need to pick up some of those rattlesnake grips on Amazon and I'm all set.

Beautiful gun and a blast to shoot. I ordered a set of the silver rattle snakes and installed them on the grips myself. This gun is by far my favorite out of the many guns I own.

OK, ordering and delivery from Bud\'s was no problem. They do what they say they will do.

The good news is, the gun shoots great - but I had a big issue with assembly QC. First the screw holding in the loading gate was halfway backed out. No way shell casings would clear. I tightened it down (I am at the gun range now) after struggling mightily with that wedge assembly system, and the gate would not open. It was not just stiff - It would not move. To get it loose enough to move i had to back out the screw so far the cylinder would jam ! After sufficient investigation I saw that the tiny piece of spring steel that is supposed to snap into a recess and hold the gate closed was so far out of alignment ( the angle it was bent on was poor) it would jam the gate closed if the gate was snug in it place. In other words there was no way this gun would work with this spring in place. I imagine that some ya-ho\'s on the assembly line saw the gate was jammed and instead of seeing the mis-manufactured spring, and replacing it, they just backed out the gate screw until the gate moved and threw it in the box. Who knows how many were shipped like this.

Soooooo...I took out the spring at the range, snugged the gate down so the cylinder would clear properly, and had fun shooting by gun using a piece of electrical tape to hold the gate closed after every re-load ! Shot about 70 rounds, smooth a silk. 1/2 hour in my little shop this evening re-making that stupid spring piece (bent it at an angle that holds the gate closed gently, not jams it permanently) and the gun functions smoothly with shells in the cylinder - something it would never do in the condition it was shipped. First and last gun from Uberti I promise......

Got this piece thru the "offer" process and took the 90 days to pay for it.Good looking gun.Heavier than you think, longer than you think, grip is smaller than you think.I have large hands and the grip disappears in my hand.Loading gate is a little stiff but it just needs some time to break in.Suggest you leave the hammer on an empty chamber.Trigger is light,so be careful. Buds delivered as expected and got to my FFL in 3 days from final payment to the pick up.
