Diamondback Firearms Freedom Riptide 9mm Pistol - Blue/Black, 3.5" Barrel, 17+1 Rounds, Polymer Grips

I would like to say that I was/am pleasantly surprised with my Diamondback AM2. Upon picking up my gun I went straight to the indoor gun range and proceeded to shoot approximately 50-70 target rounds(115 grains) in blocks of 5 or 10. The slide was stiff at first but loosened up and the trigger was very smooth from the start. The gun fit well in my hand and the grip texture was an added bonus. The gun was very accurate right out the box. I am former law enforcement and I sold my Springfield Armory XD 40(former back-up duty weapon and off-duty carry) before purchasing the AM2. Let me say that the Diamondback AM2 is now my EDC(every day carry) and I have full confidence in it if my life depended on it. The shipping from Budsgunshop.com was extremely fast and overall it was a great experience.

My Diamondback AM2 has become my carry gun. It replaced my S&W Shield 9mm because it is about the same size as the AM2 but holds four more rounds in the flush fit mag. It is in between the size of a Glock 26 and a Glock 19. I really like the grip texture and the stock sights on the AM2. My AM2 has been reliable. It is an excellent value at less than $300 and is on par with a Glock.

This gun is awesome!! Do not underestimate it!! This gun shoots better then any of the fancy brand name guns i own!! I'm not kidding!! DB has really done a 360 for the better and they really have upped their game!! Diamond Back if you're out there listening give whoever created this firearm a raise $$ and a free trip to a vacation paradise of their choice!! I put 300 rounds through this gun tonight and it ran smooth and flawless and the trigger just got smoother as i shot it. This grip feels and points like a 1911 and makes me shoot pin point accurate shots from 15 to 18 feet. The sights are nice and are metal and the mags are metal as well and only cost $20. This DB AM2 9 pistol is off the charts and if you're thinking about purchasing one do not hesitate one second!! Very nice pistol for the money zero issues so far after around 180 rounds very nice feel with the 17 round mag very happy with my purchase and the speed of shipping from buds will definitely shop here again!

This is a very nice firearm. I have put 100 rounds down range so far and it was flawless. The grip texture is fantastic and even with the 12 round mag I can get my pinky securely on the grip. I bought a couple of extra 12 round mags from Diamondback at less than $20 ea. If you want a quality firearm for a great price look no further. Buds shipped quickly and I had the gun in 2 days. For those with larger hands you can get a pair of +1 mag extension from Galloway precision for about $12 and they also work great. I am very happy with this purchase. Thanks Buds !!!

Great subcompact, & reliable. 600 rounds down range and 4 light primer strikes within the same box of 200 i purchased.None in the last 400 i have ran through it. This is a very underestimated firearm. It is my EDC. Well made & feels good in my hand.

I wasnt sure what to expect out of this little 9mm, I ran 400 rounds through this weapon with no isuues. The rounds that I ran through it were a hodge podge of different brands and not a one malfunction. Accuracy and trigger pull improves with every magazine, by the end of the day was firing 1 inch 3 round pulls at 20 yards. I it has moved itself up to my everyday carry gun because dependability and accuracy. I highly recommend this gun !! The diamondback am2 9mm has the high end quality with a working mans price! I will be buying another for my wife now!
