The AM2 looks great, it’s slim and the trigger pull was decent. The reliability was spotty, it worked well enough with ball ammo. But with it JHP ammo it numerous FTF & FTE. Buds was excellent with their customer service and shipping.

Decent pistol. Liked having the 17 round option. Is picky with ammo. Seems to like 9mm luger the best

I recently purchased a Diamondback Db9Am and am very empressed. Love the feel in your hand, the grip, the color, the weight, the look, and the fact that the mag can hold more than 6rds compared to the db9 gen 1-4. Plus it doesn't feel like a compact gun. Just right. Have not taken it to the range yet, but i will soon.

Out of the first 200rds I had only one FTF... It has been totally reliable after that.

This is an awesome little gun. I lubed it, took it to the range and put over 300 rounds through it with no failures of any kind with a variety of ammo including ball, hollow points and underwood defenders. I have probably bought over 20 pistols over the last few years of all calibers and manufacturers and this is one of the best for EDC. It is slim but large enough to get a good purchase, the sights are very good and it seems dependable so far. I have only seen a few subcompacts currently equal in size, weight, width and capacity and this is the only one of those I would trust at this time.

Over all very happy with this one. One light primer strike, and one failure to feed( both cheap ammo) in 500 rounds... getting smother with every mag... buy it you won’t be sorry...

I love me an awesome budget gun. I gun with all the features and half the cost of the competition. Two mags one 12 rd and one 15rd. I will say the extended mag with the sleeve isn’t my cup of tea because the sleeve moves up and down. I’d rather have the 12rd with an actual extension that’s stable. The gun has metal 3 dot U sights which are easy to acquire, nice texture that’s aggressive and bites in all the right places, a cool carry bag, and the gun is reliable with no issues through 300 rounds, and it’s in fde. Don’t wait just buy it and thank me later.

Overall happy with AM2 400 rounds down range.
Few issues with 124gr HP to feed. Few FTE also.
Magazine quality could be better.
My opinion Diamondback has turned it around.
Hopefully reliability will improve with round count.
