We went to the shooting range and the hi point 380 was great for target practice no issues.

Fine weapon. Got it for my wife but it was larger in her hand than we thought and heavy. reordered her a Ruger 3734 LCP 380ACP Muddy Girl which is a lot lighter and put a laser sight on it for her.on it

This is the first gun I've owned, but I have fired a few before. I'm a petite female with small hands and not a lot of strength, so I wanted a smaller caliber. I also don't have a lot of money, so you really can't go wrong with the price. I first checked a bunch of videos and other reviews, and nearly all said the quality and reliability was good. I bought a cheap box of range ammo and 2 boxes of hollow points. The gun operated smoothly with the range ammo, jammed once with the hollow points. I'm going to try different ammo to see what works best. The gun is heavier than I thought it would be, but I can handle it just fine. The recoil is about average. Overall I like it and feel like I got a great deal considering the price.

Pretty awesome gun love shooting it! It’s on the heavier side and has a good kick but I love it!
