RADIAN WEAPONS Raptor Charging Handle AR-15, M16 Black Anodized Aluminum

The Radian Raptor charging handle is a quality product which made an immediate improvement to the functionality of my Smith and Wesson M&P15. Installation is very easy as it simply replaces the factory mil-spec charging handle with no modifications necessary. Operation is very smooth and the enhanced/enlarged grips allow me to charge the rifle quickly and effortlessly. I have a Primary Arms 5X prism scope mounted, and the original mil-spec charging handle was a little difficult to access, but the Radian Raptor has eliminated that problem. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to make a quick and easy upgrade to your AR platform rifle or pistol.

This Raptor flows so much better than my milspec that came with the AR-15. The ambidextrous handle is what sold me. Blading this is a breeze. I wasn't sure how much improvement would come from just changing my charging handle however I am very impressed with how much smoother the operation is. I would definitely recommend this.

This is the first aftermarket part I purchased for my first AR-15 (Ruger). The first thing I noticed about my AR's charging handle was that the button and lever felt so small for the amount of force needed to pull it back. I did some research on aftermarket charging handles and came across the Raptor. I wanted it to be ambidextrous, because why not? It is now much easier to pull the charging handle back, especially one-handed. I would have liked it if they had somehow made the right side of the lever a bit more pointed up or rearward, as the forward assist (if your AR has one) makes for a pinched finger if you want to charge it on the right side. It's often easier to pull that right side while checking the chamber, but you have to use one finger from the top of the charging lever to do so, there isn't enough room between the forward assist and right side lever to easily get a quick grip. All things considered, it still makes charging the rifle easier/quicker and that's why I got it. I might try other charging handles in the future just to find the perfect one for me, but for now this will do fine.
