Made in the USA, the Magpul Hunter X-22 chassis is an ergonomic, full-featured stock for the ubiquitous Ruger 10/22 rifle. Made from high quality reinforced polymer, the Hunter X-22 features an ergonomic grip, adjustable length of pull and comb height to fit a wide variety of shooters, multiple sling mounting options, a non-slip rubber butt-pad, and M-LOK slots for accessory attachment. The Hunter X-22 fits standard Ruger 10/22 .22 LR pattern rifles with no gunsmithing, and a reversible barrel tray ensures proper fit with factory pencil profile as well as heavy bull barrels. The Hunter X-22 is also compatible with the Thompson Center T/CR22. This item is for the stock only and aforementioned, and does not include additional accessories.

This stock is exactly what I needed for a 10/22 build. I built it from a Ruger Optics Ready 10/22. The fit was perfect. Stock is comfortable and durable.

The Magpul Hunter x-22 stock for Ruger 10/22 is exactly as described. It arrived ahead of schedule, was well packaged, and was priced right. The install is very simple and straight forward. Can't wait to take it to the range. The only "con" is that the FDE color is quite a bit darker than it appears in the online photos. Love dealing with BudsGunShop. Very user friendly website, good pricing, and excellent service. Highly recommend Buds and the Magpul Stock.

Strong, durable stock. Fit perfectly. Only took a few minutes to install. I really like the look it gives my Ruger 10/22.

Very nice ergonomics on this stock, and the spacers for stock length and interchangeable combs are great for getting right fit for different sized shooters using different types of sights/optics. The ability to use this stock with either a sporter barrel or a bull barrel is also very nice. Its appearance may be an acquired taste, but it appears well made. It feels solid and durable. The stock is heaver than either the factory wood or synthetic stock, but not as heavy as some laminate stocks. Whether this is good or bad depends on what you want. I have a tapered Green Mountain barrel on my rifle. This is heavier than the factory barrel but lighter than steel bull barrels. The gun seems well balanced with that barrel and this stock.
