This Muskrat/Cub Bear combination makes the perfect skinning and caping combination set. The Muskrat is an unusually shaped knife unbelievably effective for skinning and fleshing. The razor sharp edge extends completely around the rounded edge and along the top side for one inch. The rounded point is also much less likely to accidentally cut through the skin of a valuable cape than a very sharp pointed blade. The thin, .8" thick blade is D-2 tool steel and holds an incredible edge. The Cub Bear caping knife is lightweight and designed for fine detail work. This fine-pointed blade is ideal for the fine caping work around a trophy's eyes, ears, and nose. The deep choils in front of the handle for thumb and index finger provide excellent control for close work. Both blades are made of D-2 steel and have Suregrip synthetic rubber handles. The set includes a dual leather sheath.
