Daniel Defense's Fixed Front/Rear Sight combo is both lightweight and durable and complement to each other. They are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a military specification hard anodized finish. The one piece design makes it easy to install on any MIL-STD-1913 rail and it secures with a slotted fastener threaded into a self-locking stainless steel thread insert. The concave radius on either side of the sight is a great place to rest your thumb for easy, ambidextrous activation of the light.

The rear aperture seems a little larger than necessary, leading to some inaccurate shots at range. Obviously this isn't a huge deal since the second aperture is perfect for longer range shots. That said, fit and finish is fantastic, and the design of these sights just look so dang good paired with my EXPS-2.

Nice solid sights if you don't plan on using any type of magnifier behind your red dot optic.

I bought these sights because, the Daniel Defense rifle came with no sights at all. I also did not feel like paying close to 200 dollars for some Troy flip up sights. Not only are the sights made with quality materials but they fit perfectly and look great. The price was the lowest I was able to find anywhere. Thanks Buds for the quality product at an affordable price.
