The MBUS Pro Offset Sights are part of an effective aiming system to supplement magnified optics on M1913 Picatinny mounting surfaces. In the event of a damaged or nonfunctional primary optic, or a close target, rotating the rifle 45 degrees provides the shooter with a fully-featured iron sighting solution. It features an all steel construction, case hardened and finished with Melonite QPQ, and windage adjustable with low-profile knob no tools required. Made in the USA.

I have really liked the "pro" series of MBUIS from Magpul. The off-set pair are perfect for that rifle with the pretty much permanant optic in the way of traditional poition manual back-up iron sights

Easy to install. Comes with a detailed manual on installation and use. The windage adjustment thumbsrew is a bit difficult to grasp due to the low profile. Positively locks into deployed or stowed position. Use in conjunction with Magpul's MBUS front sight. They work well together as back-up sights. I have them on an AR-10 and they seem to stand up to the beating from 7.62. My only complaint is that Magpul doesn't market the sights as a set and give the buyer a little price break, but when you sell the best you can charge what you like...

One of the best 45 degrees offset folding sight available. Made of melonited steel and not aluminum like many others. Should be very tough. One important thing to note: This rear sight, as well as others like it, may not be compatible with various uppers that are not mil-spec if mounting behind the shell deflector (where it should be). On a Vltor Mur upper with the forward assist, the windage adjustment knob contacts the protruding forward assist surround, preventing a proper mount. On certain billet uppers, the same could be a problem as well and with some others, the shell deflector are elongated and will also interfere with mounting. Just a heads up. Another thing to note, when mounted on the most rearward position on a mil-spec upper and you have an aftermarket charging handle there may be interference when folded. If it happens to be an ambi handle, it wont be with this sight folded...if it even folds all the way. There is enough clearance with standard mil-spec handles. Again, this is if you mount it to the most rear (T1) picatinny slot of a mil-spec upper. Sorry for saying mil-spec so much.
