    You might get it to clamp onto a shotgun barrel - the mount is 1 inch. however this states it is for all small caliber rifles and all air rifles up to 1000 fps. Brilliant red beam. Matte black. Includes batteries, hex wrench and instruction manual. I'd be worried about it not being able to withstand the recoil of a shotgun, since it is rated for velocities up to 1000 feet per second. That doesn't even cover most .22 ammunition. This one ( https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/80337/Streamlight+69240+TLR4+Weapon+Light+w%2FLaser+CR2+Lithium+Blac ) is more of what one would need for a shotgun (due to recoil) but it is rail mounted. You could us it if your shotgun has a rail installed.
