This is a very good base. I always use Warne rings on my rifles and was happy to be able to also use a Warne base with them as well. Unlike many brands that are aluminum, this base is steel. Please note that it is the 20 MOA version. There is also a 0 MOA version too. I had no problems zeroing the 20 MOA version at short range though. So, if you are hesitant on a 20 MOA base, don't be. The base fit my rifle (Savage Model 19056) perfectly. This base in not extended like many versions out there. I was glad, because I did not want or need an extended base. Buds also had a great price on it as well.
