The core 15 scout rifle was the perfect introductory rifle for me I've since modified this rifle heavily to be my own and I did not pay $700 for it so I'm very pleased that I got it so long ago when it was offered at a lower price by far but I will say that this rifle is perfect I have zero malfunctions after 5000 + rounds as being the guns only owner and it being fully mil spec i haven't had any issues with aftermarket parts not fitting and overall just comes at a good package. Thanks buds

This is a great rifle! I did clean it when it first arrived. I have put about 300 rounds through it, and I did have two rounds jam on the first clip. After that first clip, I have not had any other problems with it. I put a red dot sight on it and 4 rounds later I had it sighted in. At 50 yards I was getting a 3" pattern consistently.
This is a well built rifle and I really enjoy shooting it. Buds service is great and I have, and will purchase from them again.

Horrible... What a complete piece of garbage.. Failure to fire first round out of box. 3 different ammo type don't waste your money

I'm a little late on this review, I swear I had already reviewed it. Well here I am. This rifle is amazing. I was in the Army and even though we had old, beat-up rifles, they were FNH. They were not as tight as this rifle. It has VERY LITTLE, if ANY wiggle in its parts. I am currently finishing my build. I changed the standard grip to quadrail, I have a grip-pod, flashlight, laser sight, and I am running Bushnell TRS-25 with a UAG 3x magnifier. It works like a champ. I haven't had any issues whatsoever with this rifle. I started off with Wolf Polyformance Ammo, and then bought some Federal 5.56 loads, Silver Bear HP loads, and finally PMC green tips. NO FAILS. when I was using my steel GI mag, I did have one hiccup with a WPA round. But I credit that to the bullet being bad, not the rifle. It failed to load the first round. I took the mag out, rechambered it, and it worked perfectly. Maybe I didn't seat the round properly. It is very accurate, very easy to maintain, and has proven durable. I strongly recommend this rifle as a starter AR15 unless you can afford a Daniel's Defense, or HK416. I couldn't, and I probably wouldn't dish out 1000 on an AR15. An AR10, perhaps. But not a 5.56. Go and buy this one, get yourself a few PMAGs and some bulk ammo. Winchester works fine, PMC, Federal, Silver Bear, Wolf Polyformance Ammo, TulAmmo, ZQI, and even cheapo Brown Bear worked great on this rifle.

Bought it July 1st, and it reached my FFL dealer the next day. I'm more than Happy with product the only downfall is it did not come with the hard case or the Pmag. I also bought the combo product which is the KCI 100rd drum and it's very nice fits nice and tight a little bit of a struggle to get it out the magazine well but it's not a major problem. Thank you buds this a amazing product at a low price I will be back to buy more weapons from you all! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

After months of researching my purchase I decided on the CORE 15 - Scout - 100425.
The lay-away was available so I took advantage of it and paid my weapon off in about 6 weeks. Once it was paid for the shipping process was fast and sent to the FFL recommended by Buds - turns out it was only 3 miles from my home.
Picked up the CORE and even the guy at the FFL Dealer was impressed with the weapon even more after I told him what I paid for it with shipping and warranty.
The CORE came with a front site and 1 - 30 round magazine. It was late January so shooting my new M4 in western Pa was not an option with the snow and cold weather. So I did what any red blooded American would do and I popped off a single round in the back yard. Don't worry I have lots of land.
With the new CORE 15 cleaned up and well lubed I took to the range last week with 300 rounds. What a JOY to shoot and not a single jam or issue of any kind. What a great weapon, what a great price. I served in the US ARMY in the mid 70's and used the old M16 with full auto option, a rifle made by Colt that I fell in love with. Fast forward and my new CORE 15 is every bit as sweet. I did add a rear site, scope and sling for less than $125.00 and I was hitting dead center from 75 yards with just one adjustment on the scope. I told my son about my purchase and he went right to Buds and got a CORE M4 but a more dressed up version and he loves it. He spent 4 years in the USMC with 2 Combat Tours and he told me that the CORE was just as nice or better than the M4 he used in Afghanistan. The CORE 15 - SCOUT gets a 5 Star rating from me ***** / every aspect of the weapon exceeded my expectation and I will buy another CORE when needed. For the money I spent I got more than what I paid in the quality weapon I now own. Oh yea my CORE 15 SCOUT came with a Lifetime warranty. How can you go wrong.
Buds is great to deal with and their service is also 5 STAR. So if you are thinking about buying a CORE just do it and I can assure you, you will love it. Buds will not let you down.
Thank you Buds, it was a real pleasure and you will hear from me again when I need another weapon.
