Del-Ton Alpha 320H .223/5.56 NATO 30+1 - Blue/Black, 20" Barrel, Synthetic, Fixed Stock

Very good rifle , no problems

Hello, I purchased this rifle as my first AR-15 one month after my 18th birthday. I've put close to 3000 round through it in extensive testing of the rifle. Short and sweet the rifle is good. Accuracy is more then sufficient. Around 2 MOA at 300 yards off a rest. In the 3k rounds I haven't cleaned the rifle and have yet to have a malfunction. I plan to update this post as I put more rounds through the gun. The fit and finish is nice, no gaps between the upper and lower. all controls are responsive and effective. You get what you paid for with this gun. After 3000 rounds my gas rings were shot, absolutely destroyed. On inspection of the bolt carrier group a small burr rides on the rings, causing premature ware. While not a big deal the gas rings wore out in half the time they should have. My final gripe with this rifle is that it isnt friendly with aluminum green follower USGI mags. They fit snugly and take some force to remove. They feed fine and haven't had a malfunction, simply they don't drop free and you have to pull on them. This gun loves Magpul p mags gen 2 and 3. I've run cheap wolf polyformance and gold through this gun and it loves it. 55 grain all the way to 77 grain. All and All knowing what I do now I would still buy this gun again.

Del-Ton's assembly and finish compare to any I've previously purchased... even the ones with a "little pony" on the side. Ok, honestly, there are more expensive, overly engineered AR's out there, and they have their purpose, but for the money and my purposes, Del-Ton fits the bill.

Great rifle! Very good quality for the price. I was very impressed with the balance and overall comfort the 320h has. Glad I opted for the heavy barrel. Though I couldn't give it five stars because unlike the description, I did not receive a sling and I didn't have a hard case, it came in a box. I was pretty disappointed I didn't get the case

Ordered this AR15 full size 20" BBL because I wanted a long distance plinking rifle. Well it did just that. The consistent small groups I was getting with a Leupold Scope at 200 yds. was just amazing for this rifle and what a great price too!! Thanks a bunch to Bud's for resolving my issue and sending me this rifle in a very expedient manner. I would describe this rifle in one word: Outstanding. A couple months ago I purchased this for exactly $632. It's competitor, the Colt AR15A4, has a price-tag hovering around $1000. With this Del-Ton, you essentially get the same rifle and save over $300. Quality: Out of the box this gun was in perfect condition. Everything firm and tight. A field strip showed properly staked gas key, M4 feed ramps, no issues. Everything functioned fine. As is normal with AR-15s, the buffer weight very slightly jiggles when the rifle is shaken. Stock is solid, standard A2 type with the small compartment. The upper and lower are decently tight, better than Colts, which are notorious for the wiggle. Bear in mind the upper/lower wiggle does not affect accuracy or reliability. The handguards are very impressive, with little wiggle. Front sight is standard F-stamped. Flash hider has cuts on the upper part to reduce recoil. This rifle unloaded and without rear sight is hefty at 8.0lbs. Over 9lbs loaded and with carry handle. Recoil is very smooth and manageable. Reliability: Out at the range this Del-Ton ate through various types of ammo, from reloads to PMC without a single failure to feed or fire. 55 and 62 grain 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem no problem. Included magazine functioned just fine, although I think it's inferior to traditional standard issue mags and definitely inferior to P-mags. Bolt locked back on every single emptied magazine. Accuracy: with front sight set to mechanical zero and aftermarket rear sight set to mechanical zero, first group of shots was high. I raised the front sight post a few clicks, and I was punching holes in the 25m M-16A2 target inside the black silhouette. Set up a military 100 yd target and scored multiple shots in the black. This won't necessarily be match grade accuracy, but with a 20" HBAR barrel, you're gonna be very happy. Inside the cardboard box is the rifle itself, one magazine, a lock, and papers. That's it. No case. No sling. Both times at the range, the #1 question I was asked was if this was a Colt rifle. Not only is everyone impressed with it, they're floored by the $600 price-tag for a brand new rifle. I've shot Colt ARs that are not only as accurate as this gun, but finicky with various ammo brands, wobbly with their upper/lower mating and handguard mating, and in need of a "break-in period." The only break-in period this Del-Ton needs is to be purchased. If you were to remove the stamped Del-Ton insignia and place Colt's on there, the most seasoned Colt expert would probably not be able to tell, and would be very excited he got a Colt without any problems... If brand name is a big factor for you and you're not afraid to make it rain for the name, then move along. But if you're no-nonsense, and looking for a rifle just as reliable as the big names but at a reasonable price, strongly consider this one.

I love the gun. Only took five days for the order to come in not bad. When I came in to pickit up the sales person, I will call him jerry had the personality of a rock. When I asked questions about the gun it was like pulling teeth to get answers. This is not the first time this has happened to me with sales people there . Iam a gun enthusiast not a gun expert. I ask questions to learn. Love the gun great price to.

I highly recommend this rifle/brand. You get so much more bang for your buck, like many of the mil spec features of the ripoff-ously expensive name brands. I have broken down this rifle and inspected the parts and craftsmanship, and it is a very well made product with high quality parts. Do yourself a favor and save some money by going with a Del-ton instead of the overpriced name brands. Overall I feel like selling my other Ar15 and replacing it with a Del-ton. Even the guys at the FFL transfer shop were asking what I paid for it, and they were blown away by the low price. I hope this review helps

Took two weeks to receive which is what I expected. What a great rifle. I had hear many good things about del-ton so i decided to pull the trigger. I changed the stock and the hand guard and slapped 3-9 scope on it. I was shooting 1 MOA at 100 yards in minutes with the cheapest tulammo I had on hand. One FTF in about 100 rounds. Great gun my next ar will be delton.
