Bought it. Installed hardened firing pin, from black rifle arms outta FL. Zeroed less than 20 rds. Really about 6. Then fired about two hundred rds of both steel and brass case. Both worked great. Only fired at 50 then 75 meters, so still have to vet this rifle at longer distance, but it worked great. Overall rating of outstanding. I would buy another Armalite in both same and different calibers, in fact I'm sure I will.

The rifle out of the box was beautiful to look at. Firing it you can tell it is a nail driver. Nice tight groups solid feel in the trigger nothing bad to say about the rifle itself. Feeds and extracts without any issues. Fired it out of the box first round off made me feel confident in the rifle to function. The issue with thiscaliber is the ammo and magazine. Fired some Tul through it and couple of failure to fires after primer was struck. 10 round mag had issues feeding when filled to 8 or more rounds. When the rounds do feed into the rifle and the round is good this rifle will make you a believer in it.

Exceptional service from Bud's especially using the interest GE card program which makes major purchases easy to do on a budget. This carbine as all Armalites is well built but the 7.69x39 on an AR platform is an absolute jam-o-matic with all &.62x39 ammo. Purchased this rifle to standardized all my long-arms. A poorly built Century AK-47 clone is more reliable than this high priced piece of aluminum and steel.
