This is my 2nd Weatherby Vanguard, my 1st is in 30-06. Aside from being beautiful, this rifle is an awfully good shooter. The recoil in not bad at all, not what i was expecting. Mine wears a Bushnell 6-24x50 ill/mil-dot. It shoots 1/2" groups at 100yds w/ wolf ammo. The trigger is a very light sqeeze, and barely moves before it breaks. This rifle is VERY accurate, good looking, and for the price, hard to beat...especially considering Rem. 700's are several hundred $$ more. Only draw back was that it took Buds a couple of weeks to ship it only 75 miles to my ffl. To be fare, they did comp me a $25 gift certifcate. Overall, i love this rifle!
