The 10 mm Hi Point carbine has excellent features that my earlier 45 acp version did not. A cheek rest which aligns me better with the sights. Secondly, a spring recoil pad. Excellent feature. I like the weight. Well made. I give this gun a strong thumbs up.

It a High-Point take the good with the bad. For the price its a solid rifle. It hasn't failed to cycle anything I've put though it. It doesn't always grab the first round out of the magazine but I blame that on the mags. Its kinda heavy in its stock form and a little bulky, I put mine in a High Tower Armory bullpup chassis and its the great.

My son in law purchased this carbine because of the 10mm chambering and the ability to share ammo with his other firearms. I loved his so I bought one. I installed a holosun red dot (think its 2mo) and whether open sight or dot, this will shoot 1.5" or less AT 50-60 yds. it is three inches low at 100yds but the dot takes up much of the view on a two inch target dot. gets better as you break it in and is accurate as all snell. for the price you get a fine shooter..

Fun little gun that would be better with 15 or 20 rd mags. Buds was great ad always.

It's a good gun for the money, yes it a little heavy and ugly but that's what make it good, has a lot of potential for upgrades and adds on like muzzle brake, lights and laser, handgrip, and even a different frame. Not so much recoil due to be a heavy gun and a rifle..it's a 10mm.. my G20 has more recoil. Just get enough magazines.
