Jennifer, Howa only states that This Scope Package features a Nikko Stirling Gameking scope with 3.5-10x magnification, a 44mm objective lens, rings, and a one-piece base. Legacy Sports Intl. Customer Service should be able to tell you whether or not is mounted and bore sighted at 1-800-5-LEGACY or Direct: 1-775-828-0555.

The rifle seems very solid the safety is a bit different from the older models that I am used to as well the 2 stage trigger that is very crisp the scope doesn't seem top of the line but seems pretty nice havnt been able to fire it yet but all in all so far I really like it the hogue stock is heavier but has a very good feel to it

This rifle is very very nice. I'm more then impressed with it. The scope is very nice, very clear and bright. My package came with the Talley style rings, not the picatinny rail, witch is very nice. The scope came setup and for me didnt need any adjustment. The rifle itself is a 1500. The quality of the rifle is outstanding. I've ordered quite a few firearms from Buds and have never had one issue. Very pleased with Buds. Definitely a customer for life.

This rifle is very well made, and the sub MOA claim is true. The Scope was bad right out of the box and I will not review that. The Howa product is machined to close tolerance, yet not with the rough sandpaper feeling with other rifles of this price point. It is a pleasure to shoot and is a great representation of the Howa product line. I changed out the Mag Well for the use of a detachable box magazine and that works very well. The have been no malfunctions after several dozen rounds fired, as expected. I would recommend the rifle and brand to anyone.

Rifle and scope arrived well packaged with no obvious issues. The scope came installed as shown. I checked the alignment of the scope found I could not adjust the raise the elevation sufficiently. I thought the issue was the scope and installed a spare scope only to find the same issue. I Called the Howa distributor, LSI and was informed they had an issue with a bad batch of rails. They have since switched from rails to Talley style rings and sent me a set. I mounted a new Nikon scope using the replacement rings and aligned it with just a few clicks of elevation and wind-age. I fully expect this combination in .308 to shoot sub-MOA just like the Howa/Nikon combo in .243 it replaced. FYI while waiting for the rings I mounted the included Nikko Sterling scope on a bull barrel 10/22 and it works perfectly. I will be keeping it for paper target use. I've rated the rifle good; but the distributor should have caught the rail issue by bore sighting the rifle after installing the scope.
