This rifle is really a joy to shoot. SUPER light weight, and easily just as accurate! I would recommend this rifle to anyone including people teaching their kids to shoot. It being as light as it is, I wouldn't think a youngster would have much problem. At the same time, if you're looking for something capable of shooting a squirrell in the eye at 50 yds plus, or just having a blast going thru box after box of 22 ammo... This is your rifle! Bud's was a joy to deal with too! Overall... I couldn't ask for more!
