Only purchase a firearm from a reputable dealer. ENTER Buds Guns. Since I live in NY I could only purchase a M1A that is compliant for NY. From order confirmation to delivery to my FFL was 8 days. Everything about the rifle form fit function cycling and firing is flawless. When I opened the box and saw NM stamped on barrel I knew Buds is reputable. First shots were with Hornady 150gr SST
@ 100 yards she is a tack driver. No issues. To report..

What is there to say...this is the best designed rifle I can buy. Put 50 rounds of Malaysian army surplus through it easy. Magazine loading took some getting used to. Operating rod is right on the fore grip so gotta get used to that. Had one FTF I think as a result of my index finger barely coming into contact with it. All and all, can't complain, I just need to shoot it more.

300 rounds, and the rifle is blast (no pun intended) to shoot. Accurate, and easy to see iron sights that are possibly the best I've shot. In New York, I was forced to buy the 10 round loaded version with no muzzle brake. To me this was all an asset, as I have the longer match barrel, match trigger and sights with the same overall length as a normal Scout Squad model. For me a win win. Also like the padded stock standard on the synthetic version. Been shooting Winchester and PMC .308 with no issues at all, in 147 grain version, 200 yards with no scope is actually fun, using 10" red paper plates as targets for contrast. I waited on this one what with the price, but very glad I took the plunge.

Purchased M1A Loaded, NY Compliant with composite stock. Rifle was shipped to a local FFL. I tracked the rifle from Buds to NY via the tracking number. Once delivered I picked up the same day. It was effortless. The Springfield Armory M1A is as advertised. It's a solid, very well respected firearm. Price was the lowest I have seen. I'm very satisfied. Thank you.
