The iconic bullpup-style Steyr AUG has been one of the most recognizable rifles in the world since its adoption by the Austrian army in 1977 and is now available for civilian use as the Steyr AUG A3 M1. The short-stroke gas-piston operation of the AUG runs exceptionally cleaner by nature because all of the operational exhaust gas vents out of the front of the rifle. 80’s kid that fell in love with the AUG courtesy of Die Hard. Obviously, the manual of arms is much different from an AR but not difficult to learn. SBR length without the hassle, cost, paperwork and government intrusion. A bit heavier than expected but not overly so.

I love this gun. 1 misfire from a bad round. Zero other issues. It's smooth, comfortable to fire in regard to recoil, positioning into the shoulder, re-acquisition of target, ect. Thanks to the smart engineering from Steyr, cleaning is a quick breeze. I love this gun.

Love the AUG. Not only did Buds have it in stock, they had it at a good price. Shipping was faster than advertised.

Excellent fast service from buds, as usual. This is a Steyr AUG produced in the Steyr Factory plant in the U.S. Has a desirable chrome lined Steyr Factory barrel. The MUD color is my favorite. This rifle is reliable, easy to field strip and clean, and durable. It is worth the money. The Steyr gives you pride of ownership. You will not be disappointed.

Im going to try to make this brief, BUY THIS GUN!!!!! This is the best rifle I own. Picked it up from my FFL and went directly to the range. Put a hundred rounds thru the gun (I was short on time) NO ISSUES AT ALL!!! Its the smoothest gun I have shot. Buds was excellent as usual. I just have one gripe, (and its to the company Steyr) im a left handed shooter. There is no way why they should not sell this in left hand out of the box. IWI has it on the Tavors and X95 out of the box. I had to pay an additional 250 for the left hand bolt. Other than that, I am very happy with the rifle. I moved over my Trijicon ACOG from one of my other rifles to this one, the gun is extremely accurate. I only shot 50 meters but had no problem keeping them all in the black. So, for all you rightys, you cant go wrong here. For my leftys, look at the Tavor or X95 if you not a big AUG fan but even still I think this is still a cool gun. Magpul is making AUG mags so dont sweat the steyr mags (they are cool though). Also the quick change barrel is crazy cool and useful on the cleaning side. Finally, with all the bullpups in the market (AUG, Tavor, X95 etc) stop giving extortion money to the ATF for SBR's!!! Overall length on this one was 28 inches!!!! Thats like a 10 1/2 in AR!!!! Pics dont do it justice, this thing is COMPACT!!! Well I tried to keep it brief, in short, outstanding addition to my collection.
