Truly a bargain - 7rd. capacity total (detchable mags!), adjustable cheekrest and buttstock (w/spacers), flawless fit and finish, the smoothest bolt motions of anything in my collection, and an excellent (and adjustable) trigger, for how much? $744? This was a $1200+ model when it came out, I even wondered if Bud's got the price wrong. Go find something comparable for this price, in this niche. Nothing I found comes close. Sighted in today with new Leupold MK-AR scope and Millet adjustable mounts, ended the session with a 5-shot group at 100yds in just under 1", as guaranteed by the factory. First 3 shots of that group were in 1/2" as verified by the range officers - wish I'd left it at that and didn't fire the last 2. All with 55gr. fmj-bt PMC basic stuff, not premium ammo. Possibly a perfect rifle for good old fun at the range, no recoil, accuracy to spare, and its nice not to burn through all those rounds with the ARs for a while. Useful tactically as well, with all those sling mounting points and removable box mag for quick reloads. I couldn't be happier, if you are considering one maybe order it and before you do paperwork thoroughly check it out - Bud's will take the return pre-transfer with no problem so nothing to risk - and you'll love it. Side-by-side with my Rem 700VTR I know which I prefer... Oh and Bud's transaction was great as always of course.
