The Ballista represents the next generation of fully modular, multi-caliber bolt-action rifles designed to bring surgically precise fire at extended ranges. At the heart of the multi-caliber Ballista (.338 Lapua Mag.) is a high-strength, vibration-isolated aluminum alloy receiver with a top mounted MIL-STD 1913 rail plus multiple rail segments for slings, bipod, lasers, lights and other accessories. The Ballista s trigger system is full adjustable for single-stage or two-stage release between 2 and 5 pounds. The 26 fluted barrel may be changed in less than two minutes and each barrel remains true to the receiver s centerline. The Ballista s ambidextrous folding stock is fully adjustable for length-of-pull, buttplate height, comb height, and cast-on and cast-off. The detachable box magazine is fitted with caliber-specific interior assemblies to ensure reliable feeding under all conditions.

Buds marketing allowed Opportunity PAYMENTS towards getting this high end rifle. Had positive customer communication. rifle problem no fault of buds. 338 lapua FN Ballista/Unique Alpine tpg-3/A4 Rifle unfireable from failed polymer trigger pad/saddle. .Not an example get what you pay for. more of an Olympic sport rifle wanting to be military-spec my opinion rifle will likely be shelfed like fnh F2000 fish. PRO: Total seven subassemblies/2 user-_ material and coating anti corrosion quality_ Trigger module adjustable travel/pull/weight 3-10lbs/stop _ multi safeties 1:firing pin block/2:drop safety/3:1911 grip safety _pelican case_3 calibers and barrels lengths 20/24/26/28 (5k rnds life) _ available temp op tolerances minus -60 Celsius (76 f) to plus 55 Celsius (131 f) _aluminum folding stock Cons: Forward/back user cust position Polymer(plastic)Trigger pad broke out of box day of arrival. The Replacement polymer trigger pad with torx bolt head different design still slips on trigger module rail Great for disabling rifle or safety locking without a finger saddlepad Fn America states Bavaria” Unique Alpine tgp-3” design flaw. Unique Alpine states fnh can use metallic finger saddle pad. All contacts curteous. Theres nothing mentioned in owners manual regarding trigger or adjustments or anything as of today 04-04-18 from their gunsmith techs.
