Good weapon overall and that's all I really care about.

That being said, be sure to confirm the options that this unit comes with before buying. For example, the listing for the rifle says a 10+1 capacity (magazine), the image shows fixed iron sights and a 9" quad rail system.
What arrived was the rifle with a 20 round mag (not mad about that), flip-up non-OEM Troy iron sights (again, meh...), and the new Modular Rail System hand guard.

Like I said, I didn't care much. But if I had been dead set on the item coming as described and/or pictured, I would have been disappointed.

Lets talk about Buds. The rifle speaks for itself. It is an H&K and it's a .308/7.62x51. Basically the Ferrari of guns. But Buds went the extra mile. Not only were they the lowest prices HKMR762a1 I could find but instead of shipping the weapon stock they added Troy flip up sites. That's an extra $200 value on top of the $400-700 dollars I saved by using Buds. Additionally I traded in a rifle for this weapon and they gave me the street value for the trade. I cannot say enough good things about Buds.

The rifle itself is a monster. Everything about it screams quality. The only complaint I can see anyone having (and I am not one of those people) is in this day and age of polymer wonders this weapon is a beast. At right under 10 lbs by the time you had a scope, rings, back up sites, a bipod, and a full magazine you will feel the heft. But for me at least that is a good thing. I plan to use this in the long range role and I couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a cqb rifle however this may not be the best choice.

A+, 5 Stars, a perfect 10, and 2 thumbs way up.

Grabbed mine back in April 2012, added a Zeiss 4.5-14x Rapid z1000 and couldn't be happier. Every bit as nice as my Mr556a1 with the added range and punch oh 7.62x51. toss on my Aimpoint comp 4 and battle grip and it's light enough to run and gun. What can I say HK makes great products, they are just pricey.

After adding a Trijicon TR23-2 AccuPoint 5-20x50 and putting several hundred rounds through this weapon I have one word; Awesome. Accurate with 1.5” spreads at 300 meters with LC 193 ammo, no operational issues. The magazines are expensive and the ammo is now hard to find but you get what you pay for. This is a remarkable weapon.
