I recieved my supposedly NIB 7722 Varmin magnum. The two scope rings that came with the rifle are obviously used, the screws were replaced with philipps and when I checked the ring it was an old returned ring and the previous owner filed the flat surface where the two halves meet.
Really disappointing if Ruger failed the simple quality check. The second ring is also
used, it has some old stuff sticking on the bottow.I don't know if Ruger refurbish return items and put them back in there production bins. But that is really bad if that is the case. You premium dollars for these rifle just to get used parts.
