I love shooting this rifle. I added a Marbles tang sight and it is very accurate. Reloading .357 ammo keeps expenses down. :-)

This is a fun gun,made very well and shoots straight. Cycles .38 or .357 equally well. Fit and finish are great, the wood is a little proud the way I want a new gun. Best buy I could find. Thanks Bud's Gun Shop.

The Model 1873 Carbine arrived in two days in great shape. That's right, two days from Bud's to North Carolina. The rifle is a beauty. The description states that the wood is Grade 1. Grade 3 must be some beautiful stuff, because this looks great also. At the range, at 50 feet, it shot dead on target shooting Winchester 38 special 130 grain. When shooting 357 158 gr from same distance, it shot a little high. The above range report was consistent with two different shooters. I did a very close inspection of the firearm, before and after delivery, and could not find anything of significance. The wood stock and forend both fit nicely. Don't know what else to say. It has been a great Bud's experience so far! Did I say the rifle arrived in 2 days?
