All issues I have had with Winchesters have been resolved and I am now quite satisfied with each of them. Most did have one issue, very annoying, but it is worth noting each had only one issue. All are accurate with bores so smooth they hardly foul. They are precision and quite gorgeous.

These could be great rifles if they get their act together. As it stands it would appear that there is inadequate inspection of the subcontracted parts as witnessed by the wide variety of defects and issues I have experienced in my six Winchesters. All purchased from Buds this year. Buds did fine but the guns have numerous issues. The list includes creepy triggers, failure to feed, faiilure to close on a chambered round, swivel studs that don't fit, field strippable bolts that don't field strip, flat checkering on the wood etc. There is no consistancy between them. I don't know what the problem is with the service department but they have returned two guns to me with the same problems.
