Winchester M70 FTWT SS 243 - 22" Barrel, 4+1 Rounds, Wood Stock

The issues I have had with my new Winchesters have been resolved and I'm feeling much better about them. The one had a creepy trigger but is getting better. Other than some creep it is quite crisp. The bolt stop on another was filed ever so slightly to clear so the bolt can be disassembled. On another Safari the front barrel swivel had a hole a little too small but I fixed that and the second Safari I bought had this corrected. All the Winchesters are accurate and except for a snag here and there they are quite the precision instument. The barrels on all are so smooth inside they barely get any copper. All are accurate and gorgeous.

I have bought four of these FN Winchester Model 70's and each has a major problem or two or three. This one in 243 will not feed half the time. Other problems in other Model 70's include creepy triggers, checkering with flat points, feild strippable bolts that won't field strip, sling swivelve studs that won't fit swivels, actions that are not controlled feed but act like push feeds etc. I bought all from Bud's, Bud's did fine prompt shipping good price. They were all in sealed boxes. Unfortunately each gun has major problems. I sent one in and got it back said it met specs. So don't count on FN Winchester to fix your problems.
