Well the trigger has gotten better or maybe I have gotten used to it. The only problem was always the creep. Other than that it is very smooth. The rest of the gun is gorgeous and quite precision. Each of my new Winchesters has had one small issue, but it is worth noting that each has had only one. Though annoying, the rest of the gun is worth going to a little effort to make it perfect. All are accurate and the bores are so smooth they hardly get any fouling. All in all great guns I guess if you want a gun without any issues at all you have to go to a custom shop piece. But buy one of these Winchesters and you will be satisfied.

Another of my Winchester purchases with issues. This one had a very creepy trigger. I could take a video of the trigger movement before the gun snaps. There is supposed to be zero creep in these new triggers. I sent it in. Got it back said it was fine, met specs. Still has the creepy trigger. Got the 243 back too, the one that wouldn't feed reliably. It is no better and will not close on a chambered round unless it is stripped from the magazine despite what the manual says. Much to much slop in the manufacturing of these. Not enough inspection of the subcontracted parts apparently.
