Came packaged well and clean. Had to adjust sites for sub 100 yard shooting, but that only took 5 seconds. Now im shooting quarter size groups at 25 yards. (I've always been mediocre with rifles). This thing is a breath of fresh air for any left hander who enjoys to plink or hunt. And last of all, my favorite part of the rifle..... the accu-trigger is AWESOME!!! Way better than I expected. Once the inner safety trigger is pulled back and you feel the actual trigger, get ready for a crisp, smooth, hair, burst of joy! P.S. shoot a small spray of oil on the loading ramp before you go shooting for the first time).

Ridiculously accurate shooter! Nice barrel, great trigger. Working off of bags, I'm grouping three 30 grain Hornady V-Maxs within an inch at 200 yards (yes, they have gone sub-sonic by then - and they've dropped 15 inches from my zero at 124 yards - but they are holding tight!). So I'm getting the rifle to work sub-MOA with both Hornady and Federal ammo. For all of its accuracy, you do know you are shooting a rifle on the lower end of the cost spectrum. I bought it as a field gun and expect to knock it around a bit, so the lower price and cheaper construction is actually an advantage.

As most reviews go buds was great and easy...as far as the gun goes.....I like it...Accurate and fun to shoot. Just wish buds would carry more lefties from different brands... Come on buds were not that rare....

Although it took a while for me to receive my purchase it was expedited quickly given the current environment. The rifle in itself was good for what I paid for it. It was accurate and the stock had a very nice finish. The only downside is the magazine is loose in the receiver, I did have a few FTF but that was remedied by altering the lips on the mag, and finally I had to bed the stock. All in all for what I paid I'm very happy.

My south paw daughter loves this 22 mag. Light wieght and low recoil helps her build her convidence and shooting skills.Makes a dad proud !!!! Love the accu trigger on the 93. The fit and finish is great and of course Savage makes great guns. Thanks to Buds for the fast shipping and fair pricing. My LGS was a bit higher even after the transfer fees. Thanks again Buds, I will be be back for my youngest daughters(8) next gun.

Gun was received in a timely manner as usual from Buds. This 22 mag shoots like a dream for under 250 bucks. The magazine however does not like to feed hollow points very well. no problem with V-max or other pointed bullets. This is a great gun for anyone looking for rabbit or varmint killer. Thanks again Buds.

Great gun now that I actually have it. First gun came in and had a chip in the stock. Had to send it back and it took about 3 weeks to get the gun but it is here now and i like the gun. Glad savage makes a left handed Bolt action 22. I bought this gun for my dad and he loves it!

I finally got out to the range today with my brand new Savage 93 in 22 WMR. Before taking it out, I gave it a thorough cleaning and lube, just like I do with my fine competition target rifles. Then I mounted my Nikon 6-18X40 Sidefocus Buckmaster and a bipod. I am sorry to say I am not impressed with the rifle.

The first thing I noticed was how loose the magazine is when fully inserted. With no effort, I can rattle it in and our or back and forth. With a bit of ammunition testing I found that my round nosed Federal 40 gr. FMJ will not feed into the chamber, unless I hold the magazine up firmly while operating the bolt. If not held in place by hand, the magazine sits so low in the mag. well that the tip of the bullets are below the chamber mouth and hang up on the lower edge of the chamber mouth when I try to close the bolt.

Fortunately I have some Remington 33 gr. Accutip-V. The bullets of those cartridges are pointed enough for them to slide up and into the chamber, without holding on to the magazine. At 50 and 100 yards, I got about the level of accuracy that I would expect from a rifle costing under $250.

Any suggestion on what I can do about the magazine, without paying a bunch of $$ to fix the problem?

Just got the rifle in this afternoon very pleased with the service and the quality of the gun. Will be doing business again in the future with buds.

This was my first transaction with Bud's. Everything went smoothly and I am very pleased with the rifle. Typical Savage. Excellent accuracy and value for money. I expect to do business with Bud's again in the near future.
