CZ-USA 550 HET 338 LAPUA 4rd 28"

Fast service from buds, as weapon arrived at FFL in just a few days. I have been wanting to get into distance shooting for some time, and after careful consideration, I selected this firearm. It certainly is not cheap, especially when compared to other offerings from companies like Savage. Although the weapon was officially discontinued in 2013, CZ appears to make special runs with short supply. I preferred the ergonomics of this rifle, compared to the HET II and others. The rifle arrived in perfect condition. It is heavy, and not a good choice for carrying around on an extended hunting trip. The barrel is true 28" without the brake and lives up to it's description. I cannot speak to the performance yet, as I have not had a chance to get to the range. Overall a very solid rifle, and I am glad I made the purchase. If you are looking for a higher end 338 LM, and not interested in a custom build, you cannot go wrong with this rifle. I found it interesting that there are not many reviews available on the internet specific to this rifle. I am not sure what to attribute that fact to, but don't let it sway you, else you will be missing out on a true GEM of a rifle.
