Built on an impressively-stable Boyd’s laminate stock, the 455 Tacticool Light sheds some of the weight of its Varmint counterpart by using a 16.5” sporter-profile barrel with 1/2x28 threads. The threads mean adding a suppressor is as easy as can be and the thinner barrel means you won’t get worn out carrying the gun around in the field. The short barrel gives plenty of time for the cartridge to get a full burn while increasing the rigidity of the barrel, resulting in a rifle that drives tacks. Quietly.
