The latest RFA3 Recon models I have seen have all shipped in the DPMS Cardboard box. DPMS equips the Recon with Magpul® MOE® stock and grip, and back-up sights.

Are the Magpul PMAG's compatible with this rifle?

Absolutely 100% Brandon. They work just fine in my Recon. The Recon GII in 308 originally had issues with Magpul G3 308 mags.

Is this rifle's chamber factory made for .223 Remington or 5.56 NATO? I have a high-pressure load round I intend to use with it that is designed for a 5.56 NATO chamber.

This rifle is chambered for 5.56 NATO and will handle the extra pressure for which it was designed Gabriel.

The pressures are similar between the 2 cartridges they are measured on different scales(same velocities equal same pressures). The depth the bullet is seated to is the main difference which can cause excessive pressures when 5.56 is fired in some .223 chambers. This rifle has the 5.56 chamber and will shoot both cartridges.

This AR IS AWESOME. Zeroed it in with my red dot site. Perfect shooting. Don't have one complaint about it. Put an aftermarket drop in trigger group to bump up the trigger quality. High quality fit & finish. So happy I got this one.

There was a by of slop in the receiver fitment which is pretty normal. Accuwedge took care of it. Mil spec trigger felt pretty good but I still swapped it out for a single stage. Rifle balances well and is not awkwardly heavy. Should make a crest coyote AR.I have not put many rounds through it nut it seems fairly accurate. As far as buds is concerned they did the usual. Easy ordering/layaway , fast shipping and excellent service. I have ordered 10 guns or so off buds and they are the cheapest most of the time. CTD wanted about 270 dollars more for this exact gun.

Buds GS has unmatched customer service. I received my DPMS Recon in less than a week at my local FFL. The DPMS Recon is definitely an 'upper crust' AR in performance & accuracy. It is my go to gun for hunting hogs. There is no better 'quality for price' value than the DPMS Recon AR15.

I ordered this gun 2 years ago and I couldn't be happier with it. I've put thousands of rounds through this bad boy and not 1 jam (I clean it regularly). Amazing quality for the price - Magpul parts are excellent (as usual) and the stainless steel barrel is looks awesome! I got my first deer with this about a year ago using .223 Fusion 62 grain bullets. Deer was 100 yards out. Very pleased with the accuracy. Weapon is a little on the heavy side compared to other AR15 rifles that I have used, but the extra weight is due to the all metal free-floating handguard. Bottom line - I couldn't be happier with this thing. It's a blast to shoot and easy to customize.

Great purchase had everything that i wanted in an AR. Is a little heavy in the barrel but that was expected. Finally got it out to the range had one failure to load but that was a problem with the mag. I am very happy with the purchase shipping was fast as always.
