The Izhmash Saiga autoloading shotgun incorporates the Kalashnikov design, providing reliability and simplicity of operation. Outstanding accuracy is achieved by the smooth bore, Lancaster style elliptical barrel, which imparts a spin on projectiles, increasing accuracy and exterior threading to accept chokes. The chrome lined barrel, chamber and gas system resist corrosion, making cleaning easier and extending the life of the shotgun. A lightweight, impact resistant polymer sporter stock and forend are checkered for comfortable control and include 3/4” sling mounts. An oversized trigger guard allows use with gloved hands.

Super gun, a joy to own. The Russians always get it right when they stick to the AK design.

Fit and finish were great, cycled slugs and buckshot like a champ, would not cycle any kind of low brass and I tried em all, bought a reliability kit from CSS and it still would not cycle low brass. I guess these are hit and miss on reliability and I must of got a miss

What can I say. A semi auto 12 gauge. I have a. 20 round drum mag. Prefer this over any pump action. Took it to the range and had no false feeds or jams whatsoever. Very accurate. This is most definitely and must have.

I am very impressed with this gun. I bought it with the knowledge that I was going to do the pistol grip conversion, which was pretty easy. I also changed-out the forend and stock. I have put about 100 rounds through it, and I have run multiple types of high brass through it with absolutely no problem (all slugs). There are lots of options for drums and mags. Do the conversion and you will be a very happy person. It's a beast.

Transaction from Buds was perfect. The firearm arrived in perfect condition and in 5 days. Now about the Saiga. initially had a failure to eject condition for Federal Low brass (can't blame Buds) and this was to be expected after reading other Blog reviews. Added a DPH Reliability Kit from Carolina Shooters Supply, cured the condition. Since purchased I have put approximately 600 rounds through the Saiga, everything from Walmart bulk pack low brass to High Brass slugs, works great now. There is nothing that compares to sending 10 12 gauge shotgun slugs downrange in about 2.5 seconds. That's a lot of lead in a short time. Add a front grip so that you can keep it from rising. It does draw a lot of attention at the range. James

I really got lucky when I bought this last month before finding guns got real hard to find. Just got it last week and shot it over the weekend. All I can say, IT'S AWESOME!! It's like having am AK47 on steriods!! Only thing is, if you plan to shoot the cheap stuff, do yourself a favor and invest in a Tac47 autoplug. Even during the crisis that Buds going through they still delivered, so they still an A in my book. Thanks again Buds!!

Awesome shotgun! Just shot it yesterday, got tons of looks, had 2 failure to fire, but thats out of 100 rounds, and i consider that very good for a break in period. I modified mine right out of the box, with a Tapco adjustable stock, foreend and a limbsaver slip on recoil pad. I own a Mossberg 835 Pump action, and always have a bruise using slugs after shooting the mossy. No marks at all shooting the Saiga. I definitely believe the Semi-automatic nature of the shotgun helps reduce recoil and pain. Loads were Winchester Super X Rifled slugs 2 3/4in, 1600 FPS. Would reccomend hands down.

Love this shotgun. It's my first autoloading shotgun, something I should have tried a long time ago. Not a single misfeed with the stock mag, extended mag or 20 rd drum that I added. Fun to shoot, good balance and a wide variety of aftermarket add-ons avaiable. I'm not sure the manual was written by a native english speaker, but it's pretty thorough and still usable. If you're looking for a unique and fun to shoot shotgun, you can't go wrong with the Saiga.

Bud's awesome as usual. As soon as I updated my FFL, product was shipped.

Right out of the box this is an imtimidating looking 12 ga. Ordered two (10) round Tapco stick mags with it. Loaded both up and headed to out to shoot. Clips out of box were tough to get in and out of gun. Fired both sticks without a hitch. This gun kicks like a mule! The only other issue I had besides the tough changing of magazine was the ejection of the 2 3/4 shells. Gun didn't seem to like them. Fired fine, but would not eject. 3 inch shells worked flawlessly. Going to put a couple hundred rounds through the gun over weekend for a skeet shoot. Looking forward to shooting this great piece of machinery again!
