LWRC INTERNATIONAL A5 LWRC SIX8A5RCK16 SIX8 A5 Semi-Automatic 6.8mm Rem SPC II 16.1" 30+1 Adjustable Black Stk Black LWRC's SIX8 series weapons are short-stroke, gas piston operated rifles fully optimized for the 6.8X43mm SPC II cartridge. Its designed with a low profile 2 position adjustable gas block allowing the shooter to compensate for running a suppressor with the added benefit of our longer modular rail system. The SIX8 A5 with proprietary upper and lower receivers has an enlarged ejection port allowing unhindered ejection of the 6.8 casings and the first polymer magazine designed specifically for the 6.8 SPC II round. The upper rail comes with special cutback scallop design, which allows shooters easy access to the low profile gas block and at the same time keep the full 12 modular rails available on the sides and bottom of the hand guards. It is constructed using the highest quality materials, built on a patented self-regulating short-stroke gas piston system. They are machined from materials that belong to the super alloy family of steel alloys most often used in aerospace. The gas-piston system can be accessed quickly by loosening two thumb screws. Its dual control fully ambidextrous lower receiver includes bolt catch and release, magazine release and fire control access from both sides of the SIX8 A5. This model has Skirmish back up iron sights, ambidextrous charging handle, Magpul1 MOE+ 1 Grip, LWRCI High Efficiency 4-Prong Flash Hider and Magpul1 PMAG 6.8 SPC magazine with high-visibility follower. This rifle is great. I feel the need to reload for it. It is picky on the loads it likes. I was shooting about 3" groups with factory ammo and I have been able to load and put it in 1/2 MOA using Barnes 85GRN STX bullets.
The rifle came in as expected from Buds. It did not come with a rifle case as some people say. I did not get the sample grease that some say it comes with.
Look at the LWRC description codes on their site to make sure you are getting the color you want. This shows a black rifle on Buds.
I knew I was getting the FDE color, by looking it up on LWRC's web page.
The rifle is a great shooter you will not be disappointed.

Just received my lwrc 6.8 and never expected the quality of the A5. Haven’t put a scope on it yet but zeroed the open sights and was blown away with the shot pattern. I would recommend LWRC To anyone. And I will be buying another one.
