MOS 835 12 3.5 20 TKY SYN TH - Blue/Black, 20" Barrel, Synthetic, 3.5" Chamber, Fixed Stock

I love the gun despite there being a couple things I'm not find of. I dislike the pinned sporter forend and prefer Mossberg's action slide tube, and the thumb hole stock isn't ergonomically compatible with Mossberg's ambidextrous controls. Also, the ported choke tube is a .695 exit diameter which, while it says X Factor turkey choke, it really isn't tight enough for a turkey load. I found an inexpensive choke with an exit diameter of .679 to work excellently with a 3" #5, 250 pellets in a ten inch circle at 25 yards. The factory choke isn't particularly well suited for either buckshot or turkey loads The above things I mentioned are not deal breakers. I love the fiber optic sights, very clear in low light like early morning sitting in a blind, as well as in full light. The LPA trigger is very nice, it's actually crisp for a shotgun. Once impressed my fingertip to the trigger I expected to take up the slack and there was none, I haven't adjusted the trigger at all. I also really like the 20" barrel. Anything more is really too much to me whether for hiking to a spot or sitting in a blind. The 20" is perfect. I haven't fired 3-1/2" shells through it yet, I really don't see a need too, I've found a load/choke combination which puts plenty of payload on target. If its for turkey, a little experimenting with chokes and ammo and the gun will hit like the hammer of Thor.

Very nice shotgun. I Have been shooting shotguns for several decades and have found this one to be exceptional.t Came out of the box in perfact shape with no blemishes or problems. It functions very smooth and has not had one issue and I have shot about 70 loads of varying amunition. It has a very tight choke and one of the first purchases should be a cylinder choke tube for all around shooting. With the tight choke patterns at 40 yards are what you would expect. Very happy with the purchase and would reccomended it highly.. Second purchase from Buds and all the positive reviews are well deserved. Took about a week from purchase to door. With the 3.5 shells prepare yourself for getting kicked like a mule.
