I had to use a pad and to get it to shoot on target. The finish is terrible. The front stud hit your hand on recoil. The barrel swing really far when you open it and can pinch your hand if you are not careful.
It is super easy to shoot. It is lightweight and easy to pack. I really like it. I am glad I bought it.

Overall, I am very pleased with my Midland, now that I have had it a while and put some shells through it. It isn't a great gun, by any means, but it makes a great camp/bang around/walking brush gun for birds and small game. It functions exactly as it should, but fair warning, being so light kicks like a MULE, so a good aftermarket recoil pad is a must, imho. After putting a pad on it, the recoil is tolerable, especially with milder field loads. All in all, it is hard to beat as a camp gun for the price.

This is an excellent shotgun .Its lightweight but not bad on recoil and I tested mine with high brass slugs and buckshot.

Excellent value. Light weight, packable. dependable. Classic Beretta pattern and uses choke tubes. I really like it.
