Aabsolutely a good looking carbine. The action is smooth and the gun just fits well during firing. I really like the craftsmanship of the Henry firearms.

This Henry 327 carbine is a fantastic little rifle. It feeds and functions perfectly, although the trigger is just a bit on the stiff side for my liking (but by no means bad). I'm using 32 S&W Longs through it as low-noise small game poppers, and couldn't be more pleased. I mounted a Williams aperature rear sight on it, and can consistently punch 1.5-2" 5 shot groups at 50 yards, which is about the limits of my shooting ability.
The l.o.p. was a bit long for me, so I removed that ridiculously thick rubber pad and put a thin hard plate on it, which made the fit just about perfect... really, who needs a 1" thick recoil pad on a 327 anyway? Aside from that, this has been a perfect little rifle for the price, imho.

Typical Henry, fit and finish were spot on! Only one problem, the brass tube did not fit correctly. After one phone call I had a new tube in cour days. Works right now. Great customer service buy both Bud’s and Henry!!!
