This rifle has 2 Allen screws holding the barrel to the action. It looks like there are a number of after market barrel manufactures selling "drop in" replacement barrels that fit the CZ-455.

Is there a difference is quality from the standard model to the lux model other than the wood stock? Better finish on the steel?

No difference in quality you will love the CZ 22 rifles. The finish on both is great. I prefer the standard
