Beautiful Shotgun. Fit and finish are top notch. Hammers are smooth and triggers are reasonable for being a hammer shotgun. Receiver is marked 'Hammer Classic' and it does look like the barrels are simply cut down to size for the 20" 'Hammer Coach. The ends of the barrel are left unfinished but not rough. I will probably sand and blue the ends. Overall, an awesome shotgun! Easy purchase and great service from Buds. Thanks!

Received my CZ coach gun today, Shipping from Buds was very fast and the
emails I received from them were great. This is one sweet shooting shotgun. Fit
and overall finish was more then I thought it would be, Thank you Buds for a great
first purchase and the very fast shipping. Will do more with you folks in the future.

First let me say that I shopped in stores, and on line for this coach gun for quite awhile and Buds had the best price by far. There are other models out there for less money, but you get much less. This little side by side is very well built. The fit is tight, and i'm sure it will get better with use. The finish is very nice. I was impressed with the Turkish Walnut stocks.
The fit is excellent, and the finish is beautiful. Took it out and fired birdshot, '00' buckshot and slugs through it. I can't say it was a pleasurable experience, but it sure was a whole lot of fun. Definitely a keeper.

A little less than I expected. The wood is straight-grain walnut with knots, the barrels are nicely blued until you get to the dangerous end, where they look like they were chopped after bluing and then buffed on the ends, creating a half-inch of lighter bluing that shows in any light and almost looks like a home-job. The break-action is very stiff, and the lever does not return to center after the action is locked, it only partially returns because it feels bound-up. It has a nice look otherwise, but given the chance to go back in time I would not buy it for over $800. I'll see what I can do to loosen up the action, but I won't be spending money for better wood or bluing at the barrel ends.
