Great ammo, always consistent and accurate, and the price at Bud's is always a great value! What a great bullet for home defense, the way it expands is great for maximum damage and a large wound path.

I like Leverevolution in 357mag, 44mag, 30-30 and 45-70. But in 45 Colt it's really underwhelming. I understand the reasoning but honestly, this is hunting ammo, not cowboy loads. If Underwood and Buffalo Bore can make modern 45 Colt, why not Hornady. Just a nice conspicuous warning on the box and online, that's all. The whole point is for these to be used in modern lever actions, not in old peacemakers. So for 45 hunting ammo I prefer Underwood.

Flat shooting with minimal recoil out of 460 XVR. Effective on smaller deer as a 10 point buck took 5 shots to the body and walked away but only went about 150 yards and died. Good ammo to shoot out of a Taurus Public Defender too.
