Diamondback Firearms is proud to present the DB9, a micro-compact 9mm pistol made entirely in the USA. Designed with safety in mind, the DB9 features a "ZERO-Energy" striker firing system with a mechanical firing pin block, a steel magazine catch to secure a sheet metal magazine and real windage-adjustable sights, all in a lightweight pistol. A steel trigger with dual connecting bars allows for a crisp, smooth, trigger pull. The DB9 features a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) designed slide and barrel that is stronger than any comparable firearm, resulting in durability with less felt recoil, and the absence of removable pins or tools makes field stripping easier than ever. The slide, barrel, and internal parts are coated to resist corrosion, making this pistol a lifetime investment.

I would like to give a positive review but can't. It is a nice looking pistol that just doesn't work to what I consider normal expectations. Yes , I own other " Mini" guns so I feel I gave this gun a fair chance. First range go roundtrip fired 40 Federal 115 FMJ brass and 20 Blazer Brass FMJ. Lots of failure to feed and stove pipes with the live bullet end facing up. O.K. it's a new gun and break in is expected. 2nd range trip 35 Remington FMJ and 80 Blazer FMJ. Same problems. Bought another magazine and tried a 3rd time 50 Federal brass FMJ. Same problems. Total 225 rounds. Sent back to factory and the turn around time was more than acceptable. Repairs were: adjusted trigger bar, replaced both mag springs and adjusted breach. DB test fired 6 rds HPR and 6 rds HPR JHP without problem. Back to the range 50 Blazer, 20 Federal and added 20 Winchester to the mix. Still jams and don't suggest I am limp wristing or the gun wasn't cleaned. Grand total 315 rounds of nothing but problems. That is 6 boxes of ammo , at my expense, trying to get their product to work properly. Put a pencil to the real cost of this gun. Ammo , Magazine and the pain in the tail dealing with it all. Waiting on Diamond Back to tell me " What next"? I really wanted a BD 9 for awhile but have a bad taste of buyers remorse.

I have been a very avid gun collector for many of my 72 years. Sigs are by far my favorite handguns. I have many. For concealed carry I am 100% for the Diamond Back DB9. It's light weight, small imprint, reliability and accuracy, yes I said accuracy, is outstanding. You're not going to use this as a target pistol. For the purpose for which it is designed, it excels in every way. Enough power, not a mouse gun! I bet my life every day on my DB9 as a concealed carry gun.

Amazing gun. Great price. One of the smallest 9mm they make. I carry conceal everyday. The gun is so small it feels like your not even carrying anything. I’ve shot 350 rounds down the pipe and not even one mess up.. honestly if you’re looking for a great conceal or open carry 9mm look no further. I absolutely Love this gun.

I bought this for $214, processing was slow because of backlog. FedEx shipping took 2 days, Unlike the picture, pistol has the new style slide with longer extractor, does have a better gripping surface, good because the strong spring makes chambering a round a bit hard. The pistol is very light weight, makes for a bit more recoil, nice double action trigger, I used some old copper FMJ 9mm and 2 of the first 3 shots fail to feed, next time loaded 124g FMJ Aguila, shot all, no jams, no fail to feed, excellent. I wish it had a trigger safety, but with the firing pin block, and the zero-energy striker fire, I believe it is one of safest pistols out there. Diamonds on the grip give a confident hold, nice sights, am very happy with it.

Don't know what all the negative reviews about this little gun are about, it is well made, don't limp wrist it, and it will shoot just fine. For the price I paid at Buds, and for what it is, a tiny 9mm that you carry a lot, and shoot a little, it's not a range gun folks, it was much better than I expected. And, as always, excellent service from Buds.

I have not had a chance to test the DB9 as of yet seems better built then previous versions of this firearm.
