Mason, unfortunately no, this does not have a threaded barrel. I'm sure a gunsmith would have no problem threading it for you though. Sorry but hope this helps some.

Is the Tikka T3X magazine detachable and are there aftermarket metal mags available?

Tikka T3X Lite Compact
Lightweight and compact design. Length of pull of 12.5 inches with the ability to grow with the shooter. Comes with a modular synthetic stock that has interchangeable pistol grips. Synthetic stock has a new asymmetrical grip pattern and shape that has been specifically designed to give a solid grip in all conditions. Robust pad which reduces the impact of the recoil. Stock noise reduction foam insert within the interior of the rear stock.Widened angular ejection port that makes it easier to feed one cartridge at a time. Extra screw placements on top of the receiver so that you can robustly attach a picatinny rail even when using larger scopes. Metallic bolt shroud covers and shields the rear of the bolt body and the firing pin. Steel recoil lug extra-strong lug has minimal deformation.
