The gun was horrible. Failure to extract, failure to feed, only liked one out of the 4 mags I had for it. Traded it off and vowed to never buy another.

I took my new Mosquito Sport to the range today. I had two misfires that did fire when I cocked the hammer a second time. I had no problems with ammo feeding. My feeling is that the ammo brand makes no difference as long as you use round nose bullets with a high muzzle energy. Notice I said high muzzle energy and not muzzle velocity. They aren't the same thing. I'd like to try some subsonic with the weaker spring they supply with the gun. The one inch extension on the end of the guns is held on by one set screw and must be removed to field strip the gun. The rears sights are only adjustable for windage. Elevation is adjusted by changing the front sight. Even with shaky hands I could see the gun was shooting low and found that the tallest front sight was installed. I removed the front sight by yanking on it with pliers and pressed in the medium front sight. The magazine is easy to load. The spring is light and there is a button on the side that you can pull down and just drop the round in. The gun is smaller than full size, but it still fit my hand well and I'm a pretty big guy.

Very good quality as is excected in SigSauer. My only complaint is when the box was opened it recommends CCI mini mag. I've put high quality ammo through this gun with mis-feeds ans fail to eject.

I was a little skeptical committing to the Sig Sauer .22 LR due to some internet reviews about FTE's. However, I liked the looks of the gun and its larger size, plus I own and believe in Sig Sauer products. It arrived yesterday and i took it straight to the range with 100 rounds of CCI mini-mags. Well, i couldn't wipe the smile from my face. No misfires, and the gun is everything I thought it would be. Perfect size and weight, actually feels like firing a larger caliiber pistol . Iin someone's hand you could never guess it was a .22 caliber, more like a 9mm. Next time out i will try a regular box of bullets. Recommendations were to use the CCI mini-mags for the first 100 rounds and they were flawless with this pistol. Ths one could become my favorite pistol due to cheap ammo and the feel of a larger caliber gun in your hand . Definitely 5 stars in all respects.

Great handgun. Took it our of the box and gave it a thourough cleaning and after the first brick of Federal 36gr ammo, it has been unstopable. Extremely reliabl - 0 FTF/ 0 FTE- and accurate. Great ergonomics and smooth action. Buying from Bud's was a great experience on this pistol. Highly recommend the Mosquito Sport and Bud's Guns!

Great handgun for target shooting and plinking, fired a couple hundred rounds of CCI Mini Mags through with only two or three rounds failing to eject properly. My wife really enjoys it as well as she is just getting into shooting sports.

Great gun, shoots very well and easy to take apart. The factory sights are ok, i now have a red dot sight on it w/ sig optics mount and can shoot very accurately at 10 yards (1 1/2 inch grouping). It really seems to like blazer 22 LR ammo (cheaper than mini mags, also made by CCI) just as much as the more expensive stuff. This is my first handgun and i am really liking it, dry moly lube and a good cleaning after each range visit makes this gun 100% reliable for 300+ rounds. You will have failure to feed and failure to eject issues if you dont keep it clean and well lubed. Break-in period was about 500 rounds for me (good training w/ many FTF and FTE). Bud's was great on the price and quick to ship :) Will purchase from them again.

This pistol is great. Lots of cheap fun. Very accurate and easy to shoot. My Sig has fired over 300 rounds with no problems. The $13 federal bulk ammo shoots the best out of the cheap stuff. The S&W22A and my Mosquito go with me to the range every trip. I prefer shooting this over any other 22 I own.

I have put several thousand rounds through my mosquito. I love the gun, but you MUST use quality ammunition. If you shoot el-cheapo, expect trouble. When I use CCI Mini-mags, the gun rocks. Very few miss feeds and almost no FTF. You may also have trouble with feeding if the CCI ammo has a very heavy wax coating. I check them before I buy them. The excess wax on one box of ammo gummed it up pretty badly, I had to use a gun cleaning spray to get it clear of the mechanism and then it was back to normal. I certified for my CWP with this gun, it was easy to out shoot all of the large caliber guns with the mossy. The .22 is a bit light for carrying, but you can shoot all day for peanuts. I really like my mosquito..
