I purchased a handball beaver tail grip for my wife’s S&W 9mm M&P shield. It was the first one I had ever put on a gun before. It took me a few minutes but it was easier than I thought it would be. The grip made all the difference in the world for her. She said it was very comfortable and it didn’t increase the size of the original grip by much at all. She said it gives her more control and reduced the recoil somewhat. She is in love with her 9mm again thanks to that handall.
