I have this combo in RTHD/SS. Both barrels shoot very good and I am extremely happy with this product. The trigger is 10x better than the Encore's trigger straight out of the box (also quite a few dollars less). I also really like the crushzone recoil pad and quake sling supplied with the combo. The only "problem" is the bar that has to be removed to change barrels can be a bit difficult. If you like to attach a bipod to the forend of your rifle you will have to drill a hole in the forend and attach a stud that will accept a nut. The stud for the sling is molded into the tip of the forend. The forend is hollow and I am planning on adding a little weight in the hollow portions to help control the "flip" from the 270. CVA only offered 3 calibers when they introduced the Elite, but they have doubled the options in just one year. Hopefully this will continue. This is a great product and I would recomend it to anyone.
