The db 380 is a great ccw weapon system. One thing I love is the power it has packed in this small firearm.

This is the worst gun I have ever owned it jammed constantly I even took it in and spent a decent amount of money to get it working better and it is better but it still jams I would not recommend this concept to say it looks and feels great but performs poorly I don\'t know how they stay in business

I\'ve had some reliability issues with my Diamondback DB-380 and research on the web seems to indicate that I am not the only one. First, my gun came with a Promag brand magazine that had a very week spring. I thought that this magazine spring might be the issue so I replaced it with a stronger spring from Wolff Gunsprings (their SKU 79071 spring). This helped but did not eliminate all the problems. A second problem seems to be the light weight (mass) of the gun itself. It provides very little resistance to recoil which (especially with lower powered, practice FMJ ammo) tends to produce FTF malfunctions. Even with just a moderate hold, much less a \"limp\" one, it sometimes does not want to feed. My experience indicates that, if you are shooting the lower-powered, practice ammo, you had better lock your wrist and bear down on this little gun like it was a 44 magnum that you do not want to move. With a super firm grip, the gun becomes much more reliable. If you use stronger, defensive ammo, the gun is a bit less sensitive and you don\'t need to \"death grip\" it so much. It still needs to be gripped firmly, however, even with hot ammo. Overall, because of this gun\'s tendency to produce FTF malfunctions, unless extra care is taken, I can only give it a mid-level rating. Outside of its sensitivity, the gun\'s fit and finish are actually good. It is a nice little .380 otherwise.

I received my gun quickly and it was new in the box just as described. After reading other reviews I decided to disassemble and oil the gun before use. I purchased Fiocchi FMJ 95 grain ammo. I loaded one clip of 6 rounds. I fired all 6 rounds with zero flaws. The gun was surprisingly smooth for its size and I hit my 10 inch target all 6 times. I was roughly 18-20 feet from my target. I did not try to chamber 1+6 because that seemed to cause some issues according to other reviews. I am well pleased with 6 rounds for the price of this gun. It seems well made and is very concealable. I would purchase another without hesitation.
