ESta arma la queria por mucho tiempo, hasta que la consegui en BUDS a un precio increiblemente economico. Es una exelete arma pesada por que es toda en metal. Su apariencia es increible muy buana para manejar en la cancha de tiro.

2nd Rock Island 1911, 500 rounds No failures to Feed or extract, Love the guns Got some Wilson Stainless steel magazines. Galco Holster has protrusion to keep ambi safety engaged. Officer models do not have external barrel bushing so directions say to use paper clip to capture recoil spring, easy enough just push gently on full length guide rod once slide is off to make it very easy to field stip. there is an internal bushing lock that holds recoil spring in officers models. Great guns well worth the money I rater scratch a 600 dollar gun than a 6000$ gun enjoy

I'm giving five stars because of most of the reviews have been positive so as for now that's why I'm staying until get my opportunity to knock off a few rounds with that being said,I recently purchased my RIA Ultra CS 45, I been wanting one of these for quite some time finally caught a price that I could deal with thanks to Buds Guns I read most of the comments and reviews and I am totally jazzed I will definitely come back to finish my review once I've knocked off a hundred rounds or so until then have a good one.

For the price of this RIA TAC Ultra CS you get lots of 1911 upgrades. No, it isn't quite as smooth and pretty as a big name brand and more expensive 1911, but it came out of the box firing FMJ as well as hollow points without a problem. It works every time I pull the trigger and it came with almost all the upgrades I would have put on a 1911. Very happy with this Armscor product and wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I received my new RIA Tac Compact, I truly love this .45, I have put around 300 rounds through it so far, it is very accurate, good tight group at 30 feet, no problem. I have had an issue with the slide not staying back after the last round, but no jamming at all. I have put a new Slide Stop plunger and spring, now all is well. This is my new personal carry weapon now. even though, I have a fairly large collection of handguns, I chosen this one to carry. Thanks Buds Guns, great weapon.

I would like to talk about the performance of this firearm first. I took it to the range for the first time with 150 rounds of magtech ammo. I had about 10-15 FTF and was really upset with how it performed... i didn't want to leave a review until i at least put another 150 rounds through it. So i took it to the range again with 100rounds of Winchester service grade ammo. I had only 3FTE and 1FTF. I then shot 50 rounds of Remington UMC ammo and i had zero hiccups. I did notice that every now and then the slide wouldn't lock back to the rear after ejecting the last round in the magazine. I was only using ACT & the Armscor mags though. Fit and feel is nice and i would recommend using a silicone gun cloth to give it a nice look for the finish. Buds was great as always nothing new about that! Thanks
