nice gun BUT VERY VERY PICKY LIKES CCI mini mags best

I had read many reviews on .22LR rifles including the ISSC MK22. I dont know if the negative reviewers had older models or what...but my experience is different from those. First off, the rifle looks & feels great, and nothing about it looks or feels cheap. I've heard many people talk about failure to feed, failure to eject, etc. Right out of the box I shot some VERY old CCI HV & it shot perfectly for 100rds!! Next time I shot CCI standard velocity & it shot perfect!! I'd shoot the 1st 5 or so slow and then rapid fire 10-15 in a row & didnt have 1 FTF or FTE!! This rifle is fun to shoot & very consistent & reliable! It looks great, feels great, & performs great. I forgot to mention that it shoots 2in groups right out of the box at 20yards.

I won this in one of Buds auctions at a good price, and this is the first firearm I bought from them. I wanted to wait a little while after playing around with it before I gave it any type a rating. The first thing I did was take another reviewers advice, and change out 3 hex screws, and followed the rest of his advice before even taking it out to shoot. It was very inexpensive to do, and did it need it? Not sure, but I can say I have put over 500 rounds thru this baby and not one problem... it's been working flawlessly. I have the black one, and i'm so impressed, i'm looking to but the Desert Tan MK22. I wouldn't think twice about buying another, and telling anyone to go for it, It's a lot of fun. I'm going to copy and paste what another reviewer said you should try to avoid any possible problems. I did them, and I all I can say is this thing rocks: Excellent shipping from Buds as always. This is a very reliable 22lr and accurate rifle. But....be careful. Their are three socket bolts that need to be changed: Vertical screw: stainless steel socket head cap screw M4x0.7x18mm Horizontal screw: stainless steel socket head cap screw M4x0.7x16mm* Butt Stock Plate screw: black oxide or stainless steel socket head cap screw M4x0.7x12mm. The screws that come with it aren't of the highest quality(soft). I purchased replacements at drillspot.com Otherwise they can strip out causing the bolt to move resulting in misfires. You should use BLUE Loctite on the afformentioned screws as well. Youtube for breakdown. http://rrages.com/ sells HK spring loaded pins for the lower so you don't have to deal with unscrewing every time you break it down

4 stars! Shoots good looks good and feels good. Some minor problems that i had were: the sights are not the same as the ones shown on the picture or the manual and the other thing is the charging handle is stuck in one spot. But over all its a wonderful gun.

Rifle is very cheap to shoot and fun but it has too many FTE or FTF problems with all kinds of ammo. CCI high velocity work the best. Not reliable at all.

great rifle, shoot's great. shot a whole box of 525 and no jams. this rifle seems to be very well build and all steel up in the front, unlike other .22 clones.mounting rails all over it makes it easy to trick out.

Third purchase from Bud's, great experience. The only gripe I have is that the rifle was missing the bottom cover of the hand grip, again not a deal breaker but it would have been nice. Cycled some 300 bulk federal rounds thru the rifle and it performed flawlessly.

I just purchased one of these rifles from buds and finally got the oppertunity to cycle some rounds through it. I put about 500 rounds through and it worked flawlessly. This is a great gun for scar lovers who cant afford the scar or afford blowing through money shooting a .223 or a .308 I am very satisfied and will be buying from buds again

i've owned this rifle for 3 weeks and can't say anything negative about it. like the other review, it is true to the scar dimensions. as advertised, it will shoot any type of .22lr you put through it. i've shot over 500 rounds of the cheap bulk walmart rounds with no ftf's and only one stove pipe. buds is about the only place i've seen this gun for sale under the $500 mark. nice piece for target shooting...i have 2 AR-15's and you can go through some $$ quickly shooting them on a regular basis. disassebly for cleaning is simple and the rifle comes with a cleaning kit and hardware. this rifle is hard to find so if you're on the fence about buying it, i'd sugest pulling the trigger and getting it now before it goes out-of-stock. buds service was fast...ordered on a thursday and picked it up on the following monday. 5 stars.
