  Mike, chrome lined is used to extend the barrel shoot life and is slightly less accurate. It was used for military quantity of shooting, mostly full auto. The standard barrel will be slightly more accurate and will last well with regular shooting. Chrome, longer life and less accurate and Standard, slightly less barrel life and more accurate. So it will depend on which benefit is more important to you.

• Q: What's going on with Npap AK 47s, nobody has them in stock. Is there some kind of ban on these rifles?

  Eduardo, "Import" supply has pretty much dried up. They are not banned at the moment.

• Q: Does this model have the integrated side rail for mounting an optic mount?

  Yes, it has the side rail for mounting optics.
  I own the OPAP.
  The best mount for it is the RS Regulate, you want the 307 for Yugo rifles.
  Then you just decide what type of optic you want, regular scope, red dot, or something else.
  Then once you've decided on your optic you purchase the proper top mount for that optic.
  The accessories market for the AK is huge.
  I recommend you buy a $5-7 hammer/trigger pin retaining plate first.

  Buds will send it with the steel mag as the do not open boxes so you will get it the way the factory sent it out which is with the Steel Mag

• Q: Now the one's purchasing this rifle now in 2017 from buds, does it have the original Yugo butt stock, also is there 3 rivets in the rear trunion area of the rifle by the butt stock on the right side of the rifle.

  Hi Jesse, there are 3 rivets. If you are looking to replace the stock, a Krebs adapter with a DPH Galil style stock fits with no modifications to adapter needed.
• Q: Does this AK ship with single or double feed bolt??? Also can anyone with experience lend me advice on if I should buy this npap from buds or the Zastava Npap generation 3 synthetic for $550 from a local shop??

  Ships with double feed bolt. And I would buy this one from Buds. Gun shops these days seem like they exist only for people to trade in lemons. Then these busted guns are resold to people like us at a to good to be true price. Then we learn why they're so cheap.
